MJ Morgan is a nationally recognized, award winning fine art wedding photographer whose work reveals his love for people and his passion for life. His artistic background began with studies of the great master painters and he continues to actively incorporate many of their styles of lighting and composition into his images. Furthermore, he takes particular interest (like the great master painters) in making sure his subjects are perfectly positioned to maximize their best features and minimize distractions. His creative vision, fluid style, and sensitivity combined with this natural ability to make his subjects feel at ease in front the lens is what earns him so many of his clients.

My Style Photography by MJ Morgan is a Utah based Wedding Photography studio. MJ was commissioned to photographed his first wedding in 1991. His work is best known for its colorful, contemporary, fine art style of portraiture. Our love for storytelling and wedding photography has allowed us to capture weddings all throughout the world for stylish couples that want to remember their day as something incredible.
MJ has created a style of photography that puts your story first as he captures your environment, your love, your emotion, and the people you cherish on the most important day of your life. Seriously, we know it’s a big decision to choose your photographer, and we don’t take any of our clients for granted.
Our objective is simple. First, we provide an absolutely incredible client experience from start to finish. Second, we provide our brides and grooms with creative photography that matches the vision our couples have of their wedding day. Our style and message is consistent in every wedding we photograph.
Our studio is located in Utah and we also photograph weddings throughout the country and at destinations worldwide.
We have clients throughout the world who have had us document their wedding in our unique style, and we have been able to create memories for them beyond their wedding. We consider ourselves life photographers, rather than just wedding photographers.

I am blessed with a wonderful family - three amazing little girls, a little boy and a wonderful wife. This family started at the altar before God, family, and friends on a wedding day very much like yours will be. This day will forever be the beginning of our life together. Not only do I re-live that day each time I make an image, I also take a glimpse into the future to the days when I’m again at the altar, but this time to give my own daughters away in marriage. I’m constantly inspired and reminded that I am blessed. Blessed to have a wonderful family and blessed to be able to do the thing that I love!

Our Photography Styles
Every one of our artists are trained to be proficient in 3 different styles of photography. The one thing that differentiates our studio from all others, is that we guarantee our clients variety, and our team is able to work in all different scenarios. We don’t just shoot weddings in one of these, every wedding will get all three. Read below for more details……….
Cinematic.
This is the Signature MJ Morgan style. We created this style that blends bursts of color with fashion inspired lighting to unify you with your environment. This style of photography is the most difficult of all of our styles of shooting but our team is trained to create at least one image like this from each part of the wedding day. These images are best used for wall art in your home.
Traditional.
The buzzword for this style today in our industry is “natural light photographer,” however it’s crucial to make sure that the studio that shoots your wedding can create this look, even when the light is low. This style is clean, light and airy. Every wedding will have many images shot in the traditional style because it’s timeless, classic, and will never go out of style.
Photojournalism.
Do you love emotion in wedding photographs? We do to. Capturing emotion is our favorite part of the day. The trick to capturing good moments is to shoot through them as they are happening. As much as we love watching these moments unfold, we would much rather be working to document them. Photojournalism is the most important skill set that a wedding photographer has.
